Randoland – History and games.
The Randoland trails are aimed at children of 4 to 12 years of age and are designed in the form of a series of treasure hunts to help guide them through the park. The trails are designed to cater for 3 different levels (4-6 years, 7-9 years and 10-12 years) and present a variety of fun situations, including searching for and observing clues, analysis and deduction and riddle-solving, among other things. As a result the children collect a series of clues on various aspects of historical, architectural and natural heritage. Verdun Tourist Office has decided to fund the creation of the following two Randoland trails in Verdun:
- Verdun – the battlefield,
- Verdun – 30 centuries of history
Children and their parents will be provided with worksheets to help them explore Verdun through a series of games and riddles.
Adults will find they contain practical, historical and cultural information, as well as a map of the trail.
Worksheets are available from the Tourist Office and are priced at €1 each.
